As Mountain Mission School approaches its 100th Anniversary in 2021, we are ever mindful of our beloved founder, Sam Hurley – a self-made man who started Mountain Mission School with a simple vision of “reclaiming the child.” Generations later that vision continues.
By including Mountain Mission in your will, your legacy lives and makes it possible for more children to live a life filled with faith hope and love. The Sam Hurley Society recognizes those donors who want to provide for Mountain Mission School beyond their lifetime, who share his commitment to serving children in need.
As Sam Hurley wrote in a Christian Standard article in 1936, Mountain Mission School’s future is made secure through planned gifts that support “this project of faith, maintained by prayers and gifts of friends.”
Members of the Sam Hurley Society provide permanent support. Gifts to the Sam Hurley Society include:
- Bequests by will or trust
- Contributions of real estate
- Beneficiary designations of life insurance policies and retirement accounts
For more information on how you can provide for future generations of children in need contact Mountain Mission School’s Director of Advancement Jayne Duehring at (276) 645-1457.
The Sam Hurley Society exists to support Mountain Mission’s goal of rescuing children, raising leaders and reaching nations for both the present and the future and to keep alive the inspiring story of Mountain Mission School and its founder, Sam Hurley.
